Ah, what the Heck, I'll update

I'm trying to figure out why I capitolized Heck like that in the title. Am I using it to replace the word Hell? Like fudge, dang, shoot and heck, should we really be saying them? Isn't it like carrying around non-alcoholic beer? or a temporary tatoo? I know I sound like my mother right now, but The thought just came to me from women's conference about Eternal perspective, just a sec, I'll go find it..........ok, found it She said, " Look through the lense of eternity, you gain a new and better perspective" I know, not earth shaking or anything, but in the next life, will we ever say some of the stuff we do now? will we wear(if anything) what we wear now in the presence of god? or would we be ashamed? would we watch the shows we watch if God was sitting next to us? I think not. Oh well, something to think about.
I'm mad right now. I ordered my shoes on saturday and paid two bucks extra to get them shipped two day air. And yes I even calculated that the weekend into that. It is now wednesday evening and I have no shoes. If I don't get them tomorrow, Payless is getting a very long Irate email from me. *grrrrrr*
Oh, I almost forgot. The stake president calleed us today and asked Randy and my parents to come in. RANDY LEAVES MONDAY FOR GERMANY!!!!! It came SO fast! He'll be out until july of next year. they extended his mission so we won't see him for TEN MONTHS! just a side note

Today is such a nice day, I wish I had a job so I could call in sick.

Sorry readers, it's been a while since I last updated. I've been devoting a lot of time to starting my own private blog, updating our shared blog, and baby sitting. Their is a lady in my ward about to pop out a baby who really needs help watching her hyper-active three year old and I've been helping out. Also, a lady who I babysat for three or four years ago called me up and needed an emergency babysitter today and tomorrow, her usual one bailed out. Lucky I don't have job:) I'm only getting $5 an hour, but hey, It's money right?

We got an email from my sister's Mission home, saying she was out of the hospital, still in bed, but on the mend. Very weird having something like that happen to a family member, but on the other side of the world. We also got a package she sent by boat about five months ago. It had a bunch of cool statues and a Nativity carved out of wood. I'll post some pics of them.

I went to the SLCC singles ward with Bec B. and Cindy G. yesterday. Very huge, tons of people. The girls in relief society were friendly, but in sacrement, everyone just acted like snobs. I didn't really like it. Oh! I saw my 9th grade seminary teacher there! Do any of you guys remember Sis. Hunter? She is in that ward! I didn't get to talk to her, but I will probably go next week and try to find her. Wow, that was a long time ago. wait a minute, Toni, weren't you in that class with me? With the "weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth"? IT WAS YOU! yeah, Sis. Hunter is in that singles ward. You'll have to come sometime so we can talk to her. cool.

I ordered some shoes from payless online store on saturday. They are awsome! they kind of look like bowling shoes, but who cares, right? Last winter I wore flip flops in the snow, this year I will try and force myself to wear something that will keep my feet dry, and these will help, heck, I'll post a picture of them too! I'm in a picture-y mood today, What can I say?

Poor Tobster got his lump removed last week. He's feeling fine now, buit when he first came home he looked like he was in so much pain. I'll post some before and after pictures of him too. Jack(my siemese kitty) threw up on Rachel's chair this morning. It's his favorite place to sleep, and I guess he ate a little too much, he is old ya know. Now Rachel won't let him sleep on it and he's been walking around the house howling all day. He does that a lot. My cat is interesting.

Well, I have two other blogs to update and lots to do, so I have to go post all the pics for you now. Tootles!

I went to Cyprus today

I had to pick up Rachel from school today. Holy MEMORIES! That school will forever stay in my memory as part of the best times in my life. I even got to see Ness again who is sporting the ever popularMullet again. :) Man, high school kids are short! Very weird.
Last night Randy and I drove up 8400 close to the copper mine is to see the Arora Borealis. thay said on the news there was a 70% percent chance of seeing it. U huh. We saw nothing but extremely polluted air down town, lots of stars, a very red mars, amd a plethera of mosquitoes. It was fun though. I brought my binoculars and checked out the moon. Kind of exciting. Very cold though. i had a jacket on and was still freezing. Luckily there was a wool blanket it in the trunk that kept me toasty. I need to get a telescope sometime, because Magna is the perfect place to see stars with the mountains so close and all.
Well, i gave in to two of my temptaions at Walmart yesterday, wait make that three. I bought a box of gushers(of course), I bought a new purse(Purse addiction is hereditary in my family), and two notebooks. Very cute notebooks I might add. I write a lot and need paper so I buy a lot. more than i probably need, but I will never run out of notebooks in my lifetime. But the purse thing is kind of getting out of hand. I've decided I can't buy a nwe purse unless i get rid of one of my old ones. right now I have a total of 9 purses. But I use everyone of them, so no one can complain.
Sorry about having to add word verification in the comments, I seem to get a lot of spam coments in my blogs, so its for the better good of, well.....me.
I had subway for lunch today. just thought I'd make your mouth water.
Well, I've amazingly run out of things to say, so you get a reletively short blog for the day, but hey, i update more than any of you guys, right?

Gotta love Hinkley's expressionin this one!

A good thing

I watchd the new martha stewart show today. It's more like a talk show than the old show Before she went to prison. can you belive she was preparing meals she had IN prison? You'd think someone that famous with a reputation to uphold would steer clear of anything in relation to prison, but now it is going to become a socially accepted thing in hollywood. Boggles my mind.
Does anyone else in this world have a childhood candy? you know, the candy that you had growing up, and then your teenage years it stopped and you forgot about it, and now you find it and go nuts? Well, I have that thing with lemon drops. My mom would buy them all the time, and the other day I found some in Walmart(gotta love that store, even if it is taking over the world) and am sucking on a peice as I speak, well....type i guess. I miss my childhood. Elementary school was a blast. I had a ton of friends and loved going to school. ahhh, the good ol days. they seem to be getting fartther and farther away. Speaking of, we're almost all out of our teen years, can you believe it? I guess the TonIY's will be the first ones to go. the big ol 20. Not like you turn in to a pumpkin on your 20th b-day, it's just officially saying you aren't a vrainless teenager anymore and now you have to act like it.
I hate eyelash curlers. part of the little plastic strip on mine somehow moved, so when I last curled my eyelashes, it chopped them in half. They look completely rediculous. They are growing back steadily though, and I make sure and us e plenty of mascara to make up for the loss. I'll just end up buying a new one and using it once the lashes grow back. What we women do for beauty. *sigh*
I have a crazy cool lamp. It has music notes on the shade, and the base is a saxaphone player leaning on a bass all shaped out of metal. I love music looking stuff. My whole house is going to be full of music junk.
You know how some people concentrate better while listening to music? I CAN"T. I can't listen to music while doing homwwork or writing in my blog or anything. It distracts me. i focus on the music and make comments to myself about how this guy gets flat on his high notes, his vibrato is to distanced, and how the chord progression is dull. Some of you guys know exactlyu what I'm talking about. So, in other words, I always write my blogs in silence because I would accomplish nothing with the music on.
Oh, Michelle! and Joe, guess what music ness gave the orchestra? Greensleeves(yes the SAME one we played) kings of orient(yes the SAME one we played) and eine klein a nachtmusic(yes the SAME one we played) can you believe that? do all music teachers do that? Karel did, now Ness. what is with these teacher? you'd think they would get sick of hearing the same music year after year. BORING!
anywho, Oh, Rachel made Sr. granite Youth Symphony and starts rehearsal tomorrow. Lucky. I wonder what chair she'll be. My little sis, following in my footsteps*sniff*
My mom is making some sort of egg noodle, mushroom thingy for dinner. Blech. Sometimes I am just not in the mood to eat. but I do it anyway. No wonder I'm bulging at the seams. Over the past couple of years I've decided what foods I do and don't like. And if someone makes the food I don't like, why should I eat it if I'm bot going to enjoy it? Take fish for instance, I hate it. We went out for dinner one time for family night and my mom chose skippers. I sat in the car a nd read because i wasn't about to eat something just because it was there, I wasn't hungry, and the thing was probably 5,000 calories. i didn't care that the whole family was eating it and I wasn't, I just wasn't going to eat it. I may sound like a stubborn snob, but think about it, why would you eat something if you'r not going to enjoy it even if everyone around is? Makes sense to me.
You know, everyone in my family bugs me about writing in a blog and how it's a wasteof time, but it really helps me sort out my fellings and give me a sense of relief once I publish my blog . Just to know that someone somewhere will read how my day went and how I was feeling, it makes me feel better.
I had a slim fast today. not because I use it as a diet, i just like the taste. It's like a chocolate shake, but one that won't kill me faster oddly enough. Sure it has all my vitamins and calcium for the day, but so did the cheetos, chicken, and smoothie I had with it. kind of defeats the purpose of drinkning one in the first place, oh well.
Yuck, my mom just started cooking onions. makes want to cry.(because they taste so bad of course)
My mom just asked me to go with my dad to drop off a movie at Reams. I a in my pajama's, haven't showered yet, and would turn people to stone if I went out in public like this. Seriously though, I just don't hink it's appropriate to go out in public in PJ's and slippers. You should only wear those kind of things at home. Kind of Jr. High-sh I think. I guess I've been "oh-so-proper" since I had a lesson in relief society about we should be wearing our absolute best when going to church because we're inGod's house and should wear the absolute best clothing we own, which doesn't happen to include flip flops. I haven't wron flip flops to church since then. And when i go to the temple flip flops aren't evn an option. as are jean skirts. Sorry, too casual for God, and slippers are to casual for the public. Ok, I'm done with my ranting and raving. time to update my other blogs and stop running at the mouth here. Tootles.

bikes bikes bikes

I have been doing the whole ten mile bike ride a day thing with Randy for the past three weeks or so and have been doing fine with it. We go up cemetary hill daily as part of the "regime" too. We started on our way up when all of a sudden my lungs started aching. not like my asthma attack kind of ache, but a scary "I-feel-lke-I'm-dying" kind of ache. I got off my bike and practically collapsed onto the ground. I then proceded to puke my guts out till my organs were empty, and started to hyperventilate and my hands tightened up and I couldn't uncurl my fingers. Crazy eh? Randy stopped and told me how to breathe to stop hyperventilating(It happenss to him a lot for some reason, he usually passes out though) after about fifteen minutes I felt better and could breathe and stand again. We went home and I promptly collapsed again on the couch of exhaustion. Do you know how hard it is to ride two miles right after throwing up and hyperventilating? You should try it some time. Anywho, I felt better after a short nap, and even managed to go the last five miles that same evening. Randy and I went again today and all seemed just fine. I don't know what the deal was yesterday.
Michelle's (the sister one) mission president called us this morning to tell us our missionary was in the hospital. Apparently she has Dengue fever. Similarly known as "Bone breaking disease" because it feels like your bones are breaking. luckily though they detected it right away and sent her to the hospital and she might get released in a week or so when her blood electrolites have gone up. She's had a fever of 102 since saturday. very scary. They said she should recover and be able to go back to the field in a couple weeks or so. The only way you can get the disease is through mosquitoes, and with all the humidity there, It's a very comon thing. If you could just keep my big sis in your prayers.
Speaking of sis's, my little sis is DRIVING! She is going to drive tomorrow in drivers ed. Do you remember being in drivers ed? my little baby sister is going to be in full control of a moving peice of deadly machinery! YIKES!
Well, I need to go update my other blogs and a bunch of other stuff. I'm going to post all my recent wedding photos also. enjoy!
