shell and me eating some leaves. What else can college students afford to eat?
looking into my future, while leaving the past behind

Wednesday, October 26, 2005

I went to a restaurant that serves "breakfast at any time". So I ordered French Toast during the Renaissance

I have not much to write about today. Just some jokes and a VERY very VeRy vErY VerY VERY funny music video some college kids did I think You'll enjoy. So, on with the jokes.

A lady came up to me on the street and pointed to my suede jacket. "You know a cow was murdered for that jacket?" she sneered. I replied in a psychotic tone, "I didn't know there were any witnesses. Now I'll have to kill you too

Sometimes when I feel like killing someone, I do a little trick to calm myself down. I'll go over to the person's house and ring the doorbell. When the person comes to the door, I'm gone, but you know what I've left on the porch? A jack-o-lantern with a knife stuck in the side of its head with a note that says "You." After that, I usually feel a lot better, and no harm done

One thing kids like is to be tricked. For instance, I was going to take my little nephew to Disneyland, but instead I drove him to an old burned-out warehouse. "Oh, no," I said, "Disneyland burned down." He cried and cried, but I think deep down he thought it was funny

Tragedy is when I cut my finger. Comedy is when you fall into an open sewer and die

I love to go down to the schoolyard and watch all the little children jump up and down and run around yelling and screaming. They don't know I'm only using blanks."

And Now for the funny video you need to send to all your friends.

Tum diiddly um dum tum

Geez Tony! I was gone for Five days. What would you do if my computer died?

Anywho, I just spent the last five days in Orem staying with Crazy Toni, odd Michelle, funny Juilia, and sweetie pumpkin Joe(Remember michelle?) It was so nice to get away from my family and the house for that long. The second i walked into the door, my dad asked me to hang up some stuff he wwas cleanig. Noteven a single hello from anyone. then my mom told me to put my stuff way and come help. She said it in a tone like she had been asking me fro hours to do it. I almost ran out the door after Toni to take me back with her. Then we had the missionaries over for donner. You would have thought we were ging to feed an army! my mom bought three boxes of taco shells, two packages of tortillas, five, count em', five tomatoes, two heads of lettuce and about four pounds of beef. can you believe that? all for SEVEN people! we could've invited all the missionaries in this ZONE for goodness sake. my mom is interesting. When I told my parents I applied at some jobs while I was in Orem and that if I got any of them, I was going to move, my dad said, "Just don't let the door hit you on the way out". They must seriously want me gone or something. Tomorrow my parents are leaving, so i guess it won't be so bad.
Rachel and I went to see Corpse Bride tonight. Very cool show. Funny too. Especially where they have the parts from Lord of the Rings. Very funny and well done. I love the music for it too. Mainly the piano parts. very cool. My poor kitty Jack missed me while I was gone. As soon as I came in my room, he ran up to me and would'nt stop purring or leave me alone. So sad. My mom said he sat on the corner of my bae and stared at my pillow everyday I was gone. Poor Jacky-poo.
I got some VERY cool pictures while I was in Orem. NAmely from "facial night" that are quite entertaining that I will post Tomorrow. also some cool ones of Viola's, and lots of beautiful autumn leaves. I'm tired seeing how Michelle kept me up all night last night yapping my ear off :) (Actually, I did most of the talking) So I should get to bed so I can write lots tomorrow. Oh, something wierd before I forget, One of the missionaries that came tonight has a brother in my sisters' mission, that she went to the MTC with. Very small world. II'll write more tomorrow and post lots of pictures. tootles.

HASH(0x8d83b8c)
You chose hazel eyes. That means you are a very sweet, thoughtful person.
You are gulliable too, so it's hard for you to
sometimes say no to situations you don't like.
You're too worried that you might hurt
someone's feelings that a lot of the time you
don't think about what you want. You are also
very generous. You love to hang out with your
friends, and laugh at every little
"funny" thing.

The Eye color personality test
brought to you by

People who ask "Can I ask you a question?" Didn't really give me a choice, did ya there, buddy?

First of all I would like to congratulate my buddy Toni on her new car. WOOT WOOT! Everybody should go out and buy a new car. I sure it makes you happy.
Right now I am listening to a cd of Relaxation music for Piano. It's not very relaxing. It makes me want to strain my brain to hear the complexity of it to see if I could play it. Or I'll conduct it in my head, or something like that. Darn you classical music. I bought a CD today. It's another LDS a cappela group called "Octapella". I heard their CD while at missionary imporium with my mom. I needed a new church CD to listen to on sundays, because I was getting sick of all my old ones. They are really good singers, and have a spirit inviting repertoir. The CD is called worship. you should get it.
We also went to bed bath and beyond, or BBB as I call it. I can't belive how many kitchen gadgets they have. for instance....a garlic holder, a garlic press, a garlic baker, and a garlic scent remover. Ahhh. Garlic. gotta love the stuff. Man, my husband is going to hate me. I'm going to have bad breath all day, every day. Oh well, at least I'm a good cook :)
well, I must exercise for the night, and get to bed before.....too late. anywho, goodnight my funny looking friends!

well, not THAT big

Today I experimented with my hair and put it in velcro rollers after I took a shower. Holy volume! Where have velcro rollers been al my life!? I LOVE these things. I wash my hair, put in some gel, and put the curlers in, and WHAMO! volume and curls galore. I did some pictures, so I suppose I'll post them when I find the connector to my camera
I bought some egnog tonight at Walmart. MMMM. I love that stuff. you have to add milk though, or it's toothick and reminds me of egg yolks which makes me want to gag. speaking of gagging, I threw up this morning. I lid in bed awake from 2-8am tossing and turning with a migraine and a stomach ache, when I stood up to take my migraine medicine, and BOOM, upchuck time. Good thing I threw up before taking the Relpax though. that stuff is expensive, and I wasn't about to go digging through my puke to find it. Anyway, so I took the relpax and crashed into bed until 2pm. I only got four hours of sleep mind you. So sleeping till 2 wasn't so bad, especially cause I was sick. So pretty much the whole day got wasted from being sick. I did go with my mom to Walmart though around 9pm. I was feeling much better then. Even well enough to yell at Rachel for using my stuff. So I guess I recovered pretty nicely.
I Also bought some workout pants that match my Jacket. Sometimes new clothes just make you feel better. (Emotionally anyway)
Well, church tomorrow, and it's kind of late, so i should go to bed now. I'll have plenty of time to write after church tomorrow. So until then, tootles!

Remember when flip flops first came into style? and how hard it was to find some at stores? Now look at today and how much that has changed. Crazy. flip flops are everywhere. It's interesting to see how styles change, fads are introduced, and how the world in general is progressing into the furture.Ten years ago could you imagine someone suggesting that mcDonalds sell a Salad? You'd be laughed at and thrown out of the room. Now a days with so much focus on health and all the obesity in the world, salads are a common thing. Along with Atkins, Southbeach, and all the other millsions of diets going on for the world to lose weight. Interesting how our own thoughts and perceptions of the world change as we get older in life too. Five years ago I didn't really care about the way I looked. I was worried about practicing for my viola lesson that week or what the school was serving for lunch that day. Now I'm constantly thinking about My future,, school, work, money, relationships, the way I look, and the way I act towards people. If Only I could go back to Jr High, or elementary when i didn't have to think so much, and I enjoyed a more stressfree life.
I think I'm going to practice My viola and pianio for a bit. Do something productive intead of sit around like th lazy bum that I am. I'll write again tonight and hopefully be more entertaining.

Hmph

I am back upstairs in my old room, but now I am sharing it with Rachel, as soon as she actually brings all her junk and bed upstairs. I seriously do not understand how Michelle and Toni can both cram all their stuff in that small of a room, and fit both beds in like that. I can barely fit inour bunkbed with our stuff. You guys amaze me. But until Rachel actually moves up here, I've got my own room for about a week or so, and I am thoroughly enjoying the alone time. mainly because I can actually see my floor, and I know where my stuff is. i love being in a clean room, It's like going to a spa without the massage, it's the atmostphere, very calming and relaxing.
I've been away from the computer for the past week, because I have to rewire the network connection upstairs(which has to go through the ceiling) and will take a while. So for now I've been using my Dad's spare laptop. I can't stand laptop keyboards, so I connected my desktop one to the laptop. much nicer. Now I just need to bring up my mouse And I'll neer need my coputer again! well, not really I love my computer, and Love all the software I've installed too, so never mind about that last comment.
Right now I'm listening to all the yahoo music videos while I type. Most of them are ok and Several I want to buy, but this one by Shakira called "La Totura" Is quite annoying. One, I can't understand it, and the backround drums and noise are driving me nuts, Two, she barely sings in he whole thing anyway, just a bunch of taco benders chanting in the backround. Anyway, the song is over now, so I'll stop complaining. Crap, now Hilary Duff is on. *retch* Seriously, this girl needs to learn to sing, talk and just be a normal person. She reminds me of the old version of "Clueless" that used to be on TGIF when we were really little. You know, the girl ditz that always wore pink and chewed gum all the time? Pass me the tranquilizer gun PLEASE. better make it a double dose just to be safe.
I did a Solo in a relief society thing last night. My lovely accompanist ( who I asked to play an hour before it started and I would have sucked without her) decided to go a million times slower than we rehearsed it . The song was "As I have loved you" from the children's hymn book. I did the melody the first verse, and the second verse I did the Descant. Ya, Michelle, look how freaking high that gets(for a viola anyway) I learned it quick, and played it PERFECT. (Can you say lucky?) Anyway, she went so slow I almost turned around and said, "pick up the pace ya slow poke, it's a primary song, not a funeral march!" But, being the completely unjudging, kind, forgiving, eternal-perspective-minded-daughter-of-God (and ever so humble I might add)person that I am, I kept playing. And I will probably give her a thank-you note and a plate of cookies for doing it on such short notice for me, BUT STILL!!!! THAT SLOW?!?!?! It could drive you MAD!!! Just one of those moments, Ya know?
Anyway, I must log of for now, I have some movies to watch while my mom is alseep so she won't freak out. (*GASP* PG-13? I'm going to Hell In a handbasket)
So happy trails for now my feathered friends. Tootles

My new hair cut, Does my nose look yellow to you in this picture? I think It's the light

I chopped off my HAIR!

Yes, I was totally getting sick of my hair, and I had a coupon for great clips, so WHAMO, I cut my hair. I will post a before and after photo, don't worry. It is very short, but I love it. I have this "sweep" going across my forehead that I absolutely adore. I told her to give me lots of layers and some bangs just to shake things up a bit. My mom and I went to Walmart and got a bunch of food and snacks for conference, we always make it a big family get together type thing. I couldn't stop looking in the freezer doors atmy reflection. Yes, I love my hair.
I made a fur pillow today for my bed. It has two tassels on each end and looks like a ginormouse tootsie roll. still cool though. I will write tomorrow after conference, i need to go to bed so I won't fall asleep during conference. I LOVE MY HAIR!
