I don't like TAylor Swift that much, but I love coldplay and JOhn Schmidt. I thought this was worth sharing.

Long time no post eh?
I guess my lack of posting has induced people into dreaming about a new post. I'm glad to oblige!
I've been taking pictures and writing down stuff to blog all month, but just haven't found the time to actually type it all up. I finally have some time! There are about 4 posts all in a row, so make sure to scroll down and see them all!
First on the list we have Girls Night! Yay Tony, just what you wanted to read! Lol. I'm kidding, kidding. I will get garden pictures up when actually have something cooler to look at than 2" tall seedlings in piles of dirt. Promise.
Onto girls night! A bunch of us have just started a monthly girl's night where we have dinner/movie/games/etc. This month we combined it with Kristi's & my birthday because they're both in April. We all met at Jocelyn's house and had BBQ'd Chicken, salads, rolls, pop and chips for dinner. Then we had Cake (that Jocelyn made, yes it was good! tee hee! :) and ice cream and They sang to Kristi and me. Then we played a fun game of MadGab for a while.
Then the craziness started. Charades!!!!! Not just any charades either. We made up our own subjects for eachother. It was GREAT!

Happy birthday to me, I'm 23!
The dreaded day came and went, I'm a year older and wiser (HA!)
Here's my beautimus cake in all it's candled glory. Ice cream cake from Dairy Queen decorated by Rachel
you know you're old when your cake lights up a whole room
Notice anything different? I lightened my hair and CUT it!!
HAHAHAH!!! Gotcha! I just lightened it actually. I swore I would never cut it short again. I hate it short. So all you get is the color and the new sweep. I had it pulled behind my sholders so it wouldn't catch fire. I used a lot of hair spray that day, and wasn't taking any chances.
One of my many gifts, "The Host" by Stephanie Meyer. I borrowed Shell's (Wright)book a while ago(years maybe?) because she said it was good. I absolutely LOVED it! More than twilight even. Rachel was a peach and got this for me. I love it! I stayed up all night the day after my birthday and read it. Going one night without sleep so you can read a book like this cover to cover is SO worth it!
Michelle & Lema's gift packaged perfectly as usual. They got me an iPOD radio transmitter so I can listen to my ipod in the car without any chords. I use it almost everyday! You should all get one.
Randy Taught Miles how to stick his tongue out at people. He's doing it back at Randy in this picture. Such a funny kid!
RAchel had some leftover frosting from the cake and decided to frost herself in some henna type of thing. I know right? She's crazy.
You know it's summer when Ace plays with the hose and gets soaked.
For conference the whole family gets together and has lunch between sessions. This is our bountiful feast of sandwich meat, cheese, veggies and fruit. YUMMY! Just a pain to prepare is all. Lots of chopping!

Food Review!
If you know me at all, you know I live for hot cheetos. The other day I see this beckoning to me at the checkout
These buggers are huge! Like marshmallow size, but a hot cheeto. Why did someone not come up with this before? GENIUS!
It was delish, and I highly recommend trying these. they even have them in full size bags at Smith's along with just regular cheese puffs for those who can't handle heat.
Two thumbs WAY up!

Hailey & Mike Hepworth 4.17.09
My friend Haily Pixton got married this last weekend to a fellow cyprus pirate from back in the day, Mike Hepworth. Hailey's famly lived in my ward since I can remember, and I remember going to Young Women's activities with her all the time.
The reception was full of fresh garden flowers and all the colors were green and pink.
Such a cute couple and a beautiful wedding dress!

Conference was great. I still have to watch the first couple of talks I slept through this morning, but other than that, I watched them all and took notes! That's a record I hope to keep as the norm from now on.
Do you not want to go outside and go to the park today? It's SO NICE! Hopefully it will stick around for planting more garden tomorrow!
Rachel got her braces off last week. I'm jealous of her perfectly straight teeth! Although I'm lucky enough to never have needed braces in the first place. So no more playing chauffeur for me! I was the one to take her to all her appointments the last two years. As the Austrians would say, Vahoo!
I don't have much to blog about today, so enjoy this too true comic from the 9th ward!
