State fair Goings on
This Goat kept following Rachel and chewing in her pants. Vey affectionate for a goat!
These two were NOT camera shy. They loved attention
This wreath is made out of peach pits! So creative!!
I think this was made out of ceramic. Not sure, but Rachel loved it. She is always making things egg shaped so she went nuts when she saw this.
The traditional Butter cow. Did you know they freeze and re-use the same butter every year?
Inside the convention center they had the photography and comercial displays. I thought these were amazing and when we got up close you can see they are made out of plastic/glass tubes! Tubular.ha ha..
This little bunny had his back legs crossed. So cute. Like he was posing for us.
Happy hungry little fella

Gifts from Mum & Dad's Vacation and.......
My mom has always loved copper and got me this cool ring from a giftshop in Washington. I heart rings.
Moving clockwise starting from the top left: Painted wood box for my room, Four antique egg cups (I collect antique's), Glass star fish(I coleect blown glass and glass stuff), The little lady bug thing is a business card holder(for when i get a job) and kukua nut choker. I've always wanted one of these to hang in my car.(when I get one) And in the card holder is a music note pin. can never have enough music stuff I always say.
Underneath all this stuff is an apron with lavendar flowers embroidered on it. I am always cooking and my current apron is a little warn out. I love it. The two flower packages are wildflower seeds from Oregon. I am a flower planter heart and soul. You'll see these growing in my yard next summer. The little orange flower is a dried, pressed flower magnet. Coolness. The long green thing is a leather bookmark from Butchart Garden's that my parents saw. I am always reading a million books at once and usually end up using post it notes to save my place. Never enough bookmarks in my room. The little bear figuring is.....a bear figurine. ok, so it has an "R" on it. I have a collection of "R"s in my room and I now have a bear R!! last is the yellow lollipop looking thing. It's actually a honey lemon bear. either for candy itself or for mixing in your tea. You can guess which one I'll be using it for.
And now for the announcement!

Jury Duty? Crap.
I always thought it would be cool to be on the jury of a murderer or something cool like that. But mine is probably for some moron who has a bunch of DUI's. This sucks. I have to wait another week until I can attempt to get a job. Who would hire me if they knew I would be gone the first week and they would have to pay me for it? Nadda.
Yesterday Randy was going to take a bunch of clothes to the D.I. for Charity(his GF), and we decided to have some fun with the clothes and torture our dogs at the same time.
I love my dogg I have to say, they look smashing in their new outfits.Toby is very photogenic
I asked him where ace was right before I took this picture. He answered by turning his head in thought.
Ah, I'm starting another weekly feature in addition to the flashback weekend.
"Rebecca's Recipes" I will post the recipe andpictures of outcome, plus a taste test scale from 1-10. Then you can all try my favorite treats.
Today I decided to make a casserole for dinner as they are quick to make and usually fill you up. This one is Seafood casserole, one of my mom's classic recipes.
3 Cups Cooked Macaroni (or any pasta you want, really)
1 Can Cream of Chicken Soup
1/3 Cup Milk
1/4 cup Miracle Whip
1/2 tsp. Dry Mustard (may substitute 1 Tbsp of regular mustard)
1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 Can Tuna drained
1/4 Cup Sliced green olives (only if you like them. some people detest olives)
Topping: 1/4 Cup Bread Crumbs -or- Crushed potatoe chips(these taste better)
1 Tbsp. Melted Margerine/Butter
Paprika
Mix all ingredients except topping. Spread in medium sized casserole dish. Sprinkle Bread crumbs over top, drizzle margerine over breadcrumbs. Sprinkle with Paprika. Bake uncovered 350 degrees 50 minutes. Serves 4-5.
*I doubled this recipe and it fed 6 hungry people with 2 servings left over. Great for freezing.*
My whole family loves this dish. I give it 9/10. Very cheesy, filling and fast to make. Enjoy!
