2 months

Things I've learned from being married for two months:
  • We don't get ANYTHING accomplished if Star Trek is on. We're both addicted (him:TNG, me:DS9) But it's a fun thing we majorly have in common.
  • I didn't realize how bad I was at compromising until I got married. On another note, Steven is amazing in that department!
  • We both like Mountain Dew WAY to much.
  • I just don't understand how you can't like cooked carrots and Broccoli (....Steven....)
  • Coming up with something to eat for dinner each night isn't as easy as I thought. Yay Dominos!
  • Full size mattresses were made for midgets.
  • Getting used to new "house sounds" (i.e. creaks and such) takes a while. Someday I'll get a good full night's sleep.
  • I have accumulated SO MUCH JUNK in my short 25 years of life. And yet, I can't bear to part with any of it.
  • Daddy long leg spiders are in major abundance here at our home. Luckily I've never seen one indoors. That being said, I've had no less than 5 either end up crawling on my head or arm or leg while watering our flower beds. SO DANG CREEPY!!!!
  • Paying bills is such an old person thing to do........*whimper*
  • I knew this before, but I still hate doing dishes. Any other house chore is fine. I actually enjoy doing most everything else. But dishes? BOO!
  • I knew Steven loved me before we were married, but it's different when you have to LIVE with me(Just ask Rachel). Steven is amazingly patient, selfless and loves me so much. I'm so lucky to have him!

  1. You inherited the hate for doing dishes from your mother. One of the biggest deposits in mom's emotional bank account occurred when I bought our first dishwasher.
